there would be 3 quarters. 3 quarters 0.75+ one dime 0.10+ 3 pennies 0.03=0.88

Well, since a quarter is 25 cents then 25*3= 75... so, 3 quarters & 10cents= 85 + 3 (pennies)= 88
so,
3 quarters
1 dime
and 3 pennies :)
