$3x+7x=500\\ 10x=500\\ x=50\\\\ 3x=3\cdot50=150\\ 7x=7\cdot50=350\\\\ 500=\boxed{150+350}$

$3:7\to3+7=10\\\\500:10=50\\\\therefore:\\3\cdot50=150\\7\cdot50=350\\\\Answer:\boxed{150:350}$
