price of 5 pounds of banana=4.25 pounds
price of one pound of bananas=4.25/5
=0.85
therefore price of one pound of bananas are 0.85 cents

I got .85 centsbecause 5 goes into 42, 8 times and 42-40=2 bring down the 5 and 5 goes into 25, 5 times. Add in the decimal and you get.85
