Polytheism I believe is the belief In multiple gods. For example in Ancient Greece, Egypt, etc. Monotheism is the belief in one god. Relegions like Judiasm, and Christianity are examples of this.

B. Polytheism is the worship of many gods Monotheism is the worship of one god.
Polytheistic religions included the religions of the Greeks and the Romans (with all of their varieties of different gods).
Monotheistic religions include Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
