The answer is c because if you find the GCF it's 6 then you divide 18 and 24 by 6 and get 3/4... Answer is C

Answer:

(C) GCF: 6;
(3)/(4)

Explanation:

The greatest common factor, or GCF, is the greatest factor that divides two numbers.

We have to list all the factors for 18 and 24:

The factors of 18 are: {1,2,3,6,9,18}

The factors of 24 are: {1,2,3,4,6,12,24}

We can see that the largest number that is common to both is 6.

Then,

G.C.F. (18,24)=6

Knowing this we can simplify
(18)/(24)

(18)/(24) =(6.3)/(6.4) =(6)/(6)  .(3)/(4) =(3)/(4)

Then the right answer is (C). The greatest common factor is 6 and the simplest form of
(18)/(24) is
(3)/(4).
