This is what it would look like with 4 rows:

xxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxx

That is 4 rows by 12 columns, making 48 tiles.

That means there are 2 tiles leftover.
