\sqrt{b ^(2) -4ac}/2
x=5 +
\sqrt{(-5) ^){2}-4(1)(-14 }/2
x=5 +
√(25+56)/2
x=5 +
√(81)/2
x=5 +
√(81)/2.....x=7
or
x=5 -
√(81)/2....x=-2
