Actually to find out the area of the given triangle we don't need to know the measurements of y nor z. Base length x and height h are enough as the formula for triangle's area is 1/2xh.

A = 1/2 * x * h
A = 1/2 * 15 * 6
A = 15 * 3
A = 45

Answer: Area of the given triangle is 45 square inches (answer B).
