y=mx+b and after u graph it ,it will appear that (2,4) is don't satisfy the function cause it is not in the line

y=1/2 x+3

m=1/2(1 up and 2 to the right )

b=3

-3 -3 y=1+3
1/.5=.5x/.5 y=4
2=x
The ordered pair (2,4) does satisfy the function.
