Jose Marti did not lead Spanish troops in an attack on Ybor City, Florida leading to the American entry into the Spanish American War. However, aspects of the other 3 reasons did help to lead to war.

The correct answer is option D. "José Martí led Spanish troops in an attack on Ybor City, Florida". The US declared war against Spain in 1898 following the sinking of the Battleship Maine in Havana harbor. Among the reasons why US attacked Spain, José Martí attack on Ybor City, Florida was not one, as José Martí never led an attack in Florida. José Martí came to Tampa to gain supporters to help Cuba fight for its independence from Spain.
