Each box contains 15 apples.

How many apples are unripe?

15*2=30
30*90/100=27
30-27=3

Jim buys 2*15=30 apples
To get the answer we have to find 90% of 30
90% = 0.9
0.9*15=27
Now we can subtract 30-27=3 - its the answer
