so the way i would do this is subtract 850-100 and whatever answer you get you add it to 35

(P.S. this might not give you the right answer but i never hurts to try)

The question asks how many times he actually makes it so you will have to round down even though it is a 5 and you would usually round up. So he makes it 297 times out of 850.
