Given a function f(x) as;

f(x)=-2x+3

We can derive the value of f(-8) by subtituting -8 for x in the function f(x);

the x in the function f(x) will be replace by -8.

\begin{gathered} f(x)=-2x+3 \\ f(-8)=-2(-8)+3 \\ f(-8)=16+3 \\ f(-8)=19 \end{gathered}

Therefore, f(-8) = 19
