All you have to do is have the line have the same slope so now all you have to do is write y=1/2x + 5 or y=1/2x - 3

y=(1)/(2)x+3 \parallel y=mx+b

Two lines are parallel when their slopes are the same.

m=(1)/(2) \\ y=(1)/(2)x+b \\ \\ (2,5) \\ x=2 \\ y=5 \\ \Downarrow \\ 5=(1)/(2) * 2 + b \\ 5=1+b \\ b=4 \\ \\ \boxed{y=(1)/(2)x+4}
