3(4x-2) expanded
12x-6

2(6x-3) expanded
12x-6
12x-6=12x-6
They both cancel each other out

Whatever x is it will be correct. As long as it is the same in both parts of the equation.
This makes it impossible to give a number as to how many solutions it has.

3(4x-2)=2(6x-3) \\ 12x-6=12x-6 \\ 12x-12x=-6+6 \\ 0=0

0 is always equal to 0 no matter what x is, so the equation is true for all values of x.
The equation has infinitely many solutions.
