What is the greatest common factor (GCF) of 62 and 82?

The greatest factor is 2 because if you divide 62 by 2 then you get 31. If you do the same thing with the other 2 options you will not get whole numbers and you need whole numbers. I did the same thing with the 82 and the only quotient that was a whole number was the 2. Hope this helps.
