Part A:
(3x+5)+(3x+5)+(4x-3)+(4x-3)=p
3x+3x+4x+4x=14x
5+5+-3+-3=4
14x+4=p
-4 -4
14x=p-4
---- -----
14 14

x=1/4 p + -2/7

14(1/4 p +-2/7) +4=p
14(0.25p + 0.28571428571)+4=p
3.5 + 3.99999999994 + 4=p
11.4999999999=p
