if x is one of the angles, then, the other angle is 2x + 6. The two angles are complementary, that is, they add up 90 degrees.

Then, you can write:

x + 2x+ 6 = 90

by solving for x the previous equation, you obtain:

x + 2x + 6 = 90

3x + 6 = 90

3x = 90 - 6

3x = 84

x = 84/3

x = 28

and the value of the measure of other angle is:

2x + 6 = 2(28) + 6 = 62

Hence, the measures of the two angles are 28° and 62°
