geometric
hmm

an=a1(r)^(n-1)
r=common ratio
a1=first term
we are given that the first erm is 49
and we notice we multiply the previous term by 3 to get the next term

therefor
a1=49
r=3
the explicit rule is

a_n=49(3)^(n-1)
