Which of the following equations is the equation of a suitable line of best fit for the data given below?

{(45, 18), (62, 13), (72, 11), (55, 15), (38, 21), (26, 31), (93, 9), (64, 13), (29, 28), (33, 25), (49, 17)}

A. y = 3x + 35

I'll do it by taking any two random points...........

Lets say I take the points (55, 15), (38, 21)

I'll find the slope passing through these points : (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = 6/-17 = -6/17

You can clearly see that the slope is negative and less than 1

The answer is therefore, letter B -3/10x + 35

I hope my answer has come to your help. God bless and have a nice day ahead!
