Help PLEASE!!! What needs to be corrected in this construction of a line parallel to AB passing through C?

A. The first arc should pass through C.
B. The first arc should be centered at C.
C. The second arc should be centered at C.
D. The second arc should cross the first arc.
E. The second arc should be centered at F.

You want to construct a line parallel to AB which pass through point C. After first arc is drawn (which is centered at D, has a radius which is approximately half of segment CD and intercept both AB and CD) the second arc (with the same radius as before) should be centered at C. The next step is to use the compass to measure the distance between points E and F. Then, move the compass to the upper arc and mark off a new arc intercepting the one centered at C, forming a new point G. Finally, draw a line which pass through C and G.

The correct answer in here is C. The second arc should be centered at C. We say this because s the parallel line has to pass through C, then the second arc should be centered at C. Hope this is useful for you
