The answer is C: Lipids. Because:
1 gram of carbohydrates provides
17 kJ of energy per gram.
1 gram of protein provides 17 kJ of energy per gram.
1 gram of fat provides 37 kJ of energy per gram.
Hydrocarbon is a fuel so it is not stored in animals.
