4. What are the points of discontinuity? Are they all removable? Please show your work.

If you are given the equation y = (x-5) / (x-5)(x-1), you have to cancel x-5 in the equation and get y = 1 / (x-1). The points of discontinuity are 5 and 1. It can be obtained by equating the factors to zero.
