Hey there :)

Introduction:

South Asia is mostly a tourist part. Since increase of tourists, the flow of currency and economy increases a lot. But along with that there are many major problems related to tourism.

Problems are :-

1) ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

Hundreds of ships ply the bay each day, often discharging human waste into the sea. Tourists increasingly express surprise not at the landscape, but at the amount of trash in the water or the crowds. They also mean more garbage and human waste, and more damage to sensitive marine and terrestrial environments, causing threat even to the whole world.

2) TOURISM

Disadvantages

Tourism increases the economy but to its caviards, tourism growth includes: lack of internal airline connectivity & poor road network, poor marketing, lack of institutional coordination, limited skills and experience, lack of domestic tourism promotion, unfriendly visa policy.

Advantages

As per the World Travel & Tourism Council, the sector contributed USD 393.1 billion to the GDP of the countries of South Asia in 2019, almost double the figure in 2010 of USD 197.3 billion. In Cambodia, tourism accounted for over a third of GDP in 2019. In Thailand the figure is estimated to be about 20%. This shows that tourism cant be stopped in South Asia as it will directly affect the market system.
