true!! that is the generally accepted rule. paraphrasing and summarizing are allowed outside of this rule, but direct quotations should be limited to make sure that you include your own discoveries in a research paper.

True
Quotations from others should be included minimally so they are used to good effect and plagiarism is avoided.
