Answer;

-Crust and the upper most mantle

Explanation;

-The inside of the Earth is made up of three main layers, which are the crust, mantle and core. Compared to the mantle, the crust is very thin and brittle. The mantle is located below the crust and above the core of the Earth. The mantle layer of rock is approximately 2,900 kilometers thick.

-A tectonic plate (also called a lithospheric plate) is a massive, irregularly shaped slab of solid rock which move as cohesive, rigid bodies on the earth's surface. Tectonic plates have a large range of sizes and thicknesses.

-Plates at our planet's surface move because of the intense heat in the Earth's core that causes molten rock in the mantle layer to move. It moves in a pattern called a convection cell that forms when warm material rises, cools, and eventually sink down.
