The price of salmon at a fish market is 5.40$ per pound. This is 150% of its cost at a supermarket. How much would it cost per pound at the supermarket?

Let the cost at the supermarket be $x, then
(100 + 150)/100 * x = 5.4
2.5x = 5.4
x = 5.4/2.5 = 2.16

Therefore, the price at the supermarket is $2.16
