Given the challenges following unification in Italy, analyze why Italians were driven to immigrate to more nations with greater opportunity.

Mostly, the cause were the taxes on the wheat flour. The rise of the price forced the poor to leave their land. And obviously a unification Italy gave the opportunity to use the commercial fleet of the Sardinia Kingdom to reach America.
