Well we have to say that It does not show that photosynthesis consists of many separate reactions.Have in mind that the simplified chemical reaction equation of photosynthesis is: 6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2. The problem is that this equation doesn't show the many other reactions involved in photosynthesis, including the the two important components, the light and dark cycle.
