Answer : The balanced chemical reaction is,

2KClO_3\rightarrow 2KCl+3O_2

The ratio for the products
KCl and
O_2 generated during the decomposition of potassium chlorate are, 2 : 3 respectively.

Explanation :

The unbalanced chemical reaction is :

KClO_3\rightarrow KCl+O_2

This reaction is an unbalanced reaction because the number of atoms of oxygen present on left hand side are not equal to the right hand side of the oxygen.

In order to balance the chemical reaction, we put the coefficient 2 before the
KClO_3, the coefficient 2 before the
KCl and the coefficient 3 before the
O_2.

The balanced chemical reaction will be,

2KClO_3\rightarrow 2KCl+3O_2

The ratio between the
KClO_3:KCl:O_2 are 2 : 2 : 3 respectively.

Therefore, the ratio for the products
KCl and
O_2 generated during the decomposition of potassium chlorate are, 2 : 3 respectively.

Ok first to balance O we do it like this:
2KClO3 ---> KCl + 3O2
Then to balance K and Cl
2KClO3 ---> 2KCl + 3O2
So the ratio will be
2:3
Hope this helps a lot to you
