If the triangles are similar, then the 3 pairs of corresponding sides should have the same proportion.

In this case, the corresponding sides are:

- AB and XY

- BC and YZ (the largest sides)

- AC and XZ (the shortes sides)

Then, if they are similar we have:


(AB)/(XY)=(BC)/(YZ)=(AC)/(XZ)

From the options, the only option that match with our previous equality of proportions is:
