The first part of the question is Morita works in a florist ship and makes flower arrangements. She puts 10 flowers in each vase and 2/10 of the flowers are daisies.

A. If Morita makes 4 arrangements, how many daisies does she need?

B. Last weekend, Morita used 10 daisies to make flower arrangements. How many flowers other than daisies did she use to make the arrangements?

4 arrangements with 10 flowers each = 40 flowers
2/10 of the flowers are daises
2/10 * 40 = 8 daises

note that it will be the same as 2/10 * 10 = 2 for 1 arrangement so for 4 arrangement 2 * 4 = 8

10 and 2/10 ar dasies
2/10 of 10=20/10=2

4 times 2=8
8 daisiers

B. find not dasies

2/10=dasies
total=dasies+notdasies
notdasies=toatl-dasies
10/10-2/10=8/10
8/10 of all are not dasies
10 times 10 times 8/10=100*8/10=80
