Answer: 4

Explanation:

From the given picture, To find scale factor between figures, find two corresponding sides and write the ratio of the two sides.

The value of y is same through the distance of F to G.

So, FG= change in x coordinates

FG=
|-2-(-4)|=|-2|=2 units

Similarly , F'G'=
|3-(-5)|=|8|=8 units

Let k be the scale factor of the dilation.

The scale factor of the dilation is given by :-

k=(F'G')/(FG)\\\Rightarrow\ k=(8)/(2)=4

we know that

The scale factor is equal to

Scale\ Factor=(F'G')/(FG)

we have

F'G'=8\ units\\FG=2\ units

substitute

Scale\ Factor=(8)/(2)

Scale\ Factor=4

therefore

the answer is

4
