What is the value of the expression 5/6 divided by 1/8

5/6 divided by 1/8

Multiply by the reciprocal of the second number,
which in this case will be 8/1.

5/6 multiplied by 8/1 is 40/6

= 6 and 4/6

= 6 and 2/3

The answer is 6 and 2/3

5/6 / 1/8 = 5/6 x 8/1

5 x 8 = 40
6 x 1 = 6

40 / 6 = 6
4/6 = 6 2/3
