Indentured labor came to america by offering jobs to people that couldn´t afford the passage to the New colonies, and were without a job in Europe, they saw a better chance to make it by coming as a Indetured servants to the american colonies, they had to work for four to seven years and in exhchange they would receive land, acres of land, a year worth of corn, a cow and clothes, that would vary depending on the contract, but that was mainly the reward but their contract could be enlarged if they faulted to it, like running away or becoming pregnant were reasons for contract extension as punishment, Slaves and Indentured servans had restrictions on personal rights, but Indentured servants had a way to freedom granted.
