Why did Wilson support Bull Moose Party objectives?

He wanted to retain Progressive support for his re-election.

He believed the objectives supported his socialist leanings.

He wanted the party's support for the Treaty of Versailles.

He was a friend of Roosevelt.

Wilson supported the Bull Moose Party objectives - which were women's suffrage, worker's compensation, and social welfare assistance, to name a few - because he wanted to retain Progressive support for his re-election.
