A series of reactions catalyzed by various enzymes facilitate cellular respiration. If our diet lacks the enzymes which are responsible for carrying out cellular respiration and there is no means to produce those enzymes effectively in our body then the cellular respiration reaction will become slow as less enzymes will be available to catalyze the reactions which lead to cellular respiration. Less enzyme means less conversion of substrates into products which leads to less production of ATP. If less ATP will be available then cell's energy level be low.
