Perhaps yes, in drugs for emergency to cure illness.
But if it is just plain alcohol it is very wasteful. It causes brain cancer, along with serious mental drug and alcohol addiction.

Answer:

True

Step-by-step explanation:

Alcohol use certainly changes your ability to respond to an emergency situation. When you are intoxicated, you might experience compromised cognitive abilities. You will struggle making decisions, evaluating risks and acting swiftly. Moreover, long-term alcohol use can cause other severe problems. It can affect the frontal lobes of your brain. It can also lead to difficulty with memory. All of these can change your ability to respond to an emergency situation.
