Answer: Volume of marble is 1.72
cm^(3)

Explanation:

Since volume of container required to occupy 1 ml of water is
1\, cm^(3)

so if 1 ml of water is displaced then volume of marble will be
1\, cm^(3)

Therefore if volume of water displaced is 1.72 ml then volume of marble is 1.72
cm^(3)

Thus volume of marble is 1.72
cm^(3)
