I'm pretty sure you only lose up to 30% of heat through your head so im not sure if this is true or false. But i say false.

Yep thats false you would lose 75 percent

The statement that when exercising in the cold, keeping your head covered is important as up to 50% of your heat can be lost through your head is true. The areas of the head, neck, wrist, and ankles are good radiators of heat and have very little insulating fat.
