An object falls freely from rest with an acceleration 10m/s^2. Then the distance travelled after 0.6 secs is?

x=x0+v0t+1/2 a (t)^2
this law is one of the laws of motion

which means

distance travelled = initial distance(0) + initial velocity(0 since it starts at rest) * time taken(0.6) + 1/2*a(10m/s^2 given) t(0.6 sec)^2 = 1.8 meters

x= 0+ 0*(0.6)+1/2(10)*(0.6)^2= 1.8
