First thing is to know how much all angles should add up to in triangle.
This would be 180 degrees.
It shows a right angle. A right angle is 90 degrees.
We were told the x was 60 degrees. We need to add the angles we know together.
90+60=150
Subtract it from 180 to find out how much angle y is.
180-150=30
30 degrees

Answer: y is 30 degrees.
