Find the point, M, that divides segment AB into a ratio of 5:2 if A is at (1, 2) and B is at (8, 16).

A) (6, 12)
B) (-6, 12)
C) (6, -12)
D) (-6, -12)

5:2 is a 5 to 2 ratio
a midpoint P between tow points is
((x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/2)
I would start there, adjust it to get a ratio of 5:2 from 1:2
for one thing the point should be on the line between the other two points
