Then , we have the following equations :-


x+y=13-------(1)\\\\x+5y=33-------(2)

Subtracting equation (1) from (2), we get


4y=33-13=20\\\\\Rightarrow y=\frac{20}[4}=5

Substitute y=5 in equation(1), we get


x+5=13\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=13-5=8

Hence, the number $1 bills is 8 and the number of $5 bills is 8.
