Answer: Shape 3


Explanation:

From the given picture, we can see a cylinder cut by a plane along the diameter or chord of the bases of the cylinder(circle).

Thus it will form a cross section with width as the diameter or chord of the circle and length as the height of the cylinder.

Therefore, the resulting cross section will form a rectangle .
