So we first must multiply both sides by 4 in order to get rid of the
(1)/(4) on the left side:


(4x+15)=96

Then we need to subtract 15 on both sides in order to get the x term by itself on the left side:


4x=81

And then to completely solve for x, we need to divide both sides by 4:


x=20.25
