AB + BC + AC = 96
but AB = AC [isosceles triangle]
2AB + 24 = 96
2AB = 96 - 24 = 72
AB = 72/2 = 36
AB = 36 degrees.

Isosceles triangles are triangle with 2 equal sides.

base of the triangle is AC , therefore sides AB and BC are equal

perimeter is sum of all the sides of ABC

formula is

AB + BC + AC = 96 cm

AC = 24 cm

then

AB + BC = 96 - 24

AB + BC = 72 cm

since its an isosceles triangle

AB = BC = x

then

x + x = 72

2x = 72

x = 72/2 = 36 cm

measure of AB = 36 cm
