Explain at the molecular level why the pH increases as NaOH is added to HNO3 (titration)

the chemical reaction between NaOH and HNO3 is
NaOH + HNO3
NaNO3+H2O..
there is an increase in Ph because NaOH gives OH which increase the pH in product formed..
HNO3 is acidic , but NaNO3 is neutral here because Naoh increases the ph and makes it neutral .. N03 is the conjugate base of HNO3..

The pH increases because the concentration of hydrogen ions increases.
