Answer;

  • Soil
  • Sediment
  • Sand

Step-by-step explanation;

Weathering is a process that occurs on the earth that changes or breaks down rocks into sediments. During this process the rocks are disintegrated and broken down into pieces.

Weathering process may therefore results to the formation of sediments, soil or sand particles. There two main types of weathering,

  • Mechanical weathering in which rocks are broken down into smaller pieces without changing the composition of the rock, such that the smaller pieces have similar composition as the original rocks.
  • Chemical weathering that takes place involving change in the physical properties of original rock such as size and also change in the composition of the original rock. It occurs as a result of chemical reactions that cause changes in the minerals.
