There are twenty fishes in a tank. If six of them drown. How many more fishes are there in all?

Still 20

See 20 fishes were present at tank.

  • Now 6 of them drowned .

But they are not out from tank .

They are still present inside the tank.

So they are still 20

Explanation:

Just because 6 of the fish drown (which, for the record, I don't know how they would) doesn't mean they aren't still in the tank. The question asks How many fishes are there in all?. There are still 20 fish total in the tank, even if 6 of them have drowned.
